

About Amefa
Amefa stands for ´Apeldoornsche Messenfabriek´ and was founded by German native Eugen Hollaender in Apeldoorn, The Netherlands, in 1931. The company has since then grown to be one of Europe´s main table cutlery and kitchen knife suppliers.Eugen’s middle and youngest sons Erik and Fred Hollaender are still with the company today. Amefa has over 300 employees now, operating from Europe and Asia. The network of subsidiaries, agents and distributors enables Amefa to successfully distribute its products in more than 70 countries worldwide

Whereas Amefa started with production and distribution of only basic cutlery items, today Amefa develops and supplies full product ranges in cutlery, kitchen knives, kitchen utensils, cook -and hollow ware and bar accessories.
Amefa’s brands
Amefa offers its products not only under its established brands Amefa and Amefa Premiere, but also under newly acquired brands Couzon (est. 1934) and Richardson Sheffield (est. 1839). The Amefa brand has fine cutlery in popular designs for every occasion. Amefa Premiere has the finest cutlery, carefully crafted from high quality stainless steel (18/10) and beautifully finished to serve for many years. Our top brand is Couzon with its unique French-design products of the highest quality, not only cutlery but also cookware, hollow ware and bar accessories. English brand Richardson Sheffield is market leader in the UK and is renowned far outside for its kitchen knives.
